Looks like the Boise airport is aggressively trying to add new destinations. According to the Statesman, they're looking at direct flights to Orlando, Honolulu, Anchorage and Boston to go along with the recently announced flights to Nashville, New York and Atlanta.
There was also talk a couple of years ago about adding flights to western Canadian cities, in addition to cities in Mexico. I think that was the plan once the new concourse was built, but the airport expansion has been put on hold due to the pandemic.
