Why is everyone so stuck on the silhouette graphic of the Chrysler? Ignore it, and look at the rendering beneath it showing the Nouvel among its neighboring structures and towers.. that's how I came up with the 1,300 figure.

Unless the scale is horribly off on that one, then we have ourselves a tower that easily surpasses 1100 feet. But judging by the quality of it (the Nouvel is fully rendered, the surrounding towers' massing and heights look correct), I'd say it's probably pretty accurate.
