Construction of MRT3 project to continue, says Wee

SUNGAI BULOH (April 3): The construction of the Mass Rapid Transit Line 3 (MRT3) project, which was suspended by the previous government, will begin in the second half of this year.

Transport Minister Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong said as such, the ministry had given Mass Rapid Transit Corporation Sdn Bhd (MRT Corp) three months to update the studies conducted previously on the implementation of the project, to be presented to the Cabinet.
