So the Impact U18 was playing its quarterfinal game at Saputo and was watching parts of the game on stream (in which they won 3-1).
How it is relevant to this thread you may ask? While watching the game, I was blown away by #12 so went online to see who it was. Turns out it is Jean-Yves Ballou Tabla, youngest player on the team at 16.
He was named Canadian U17 player in 2014 at the
age of 15.
The kid has the potential to be the star of the Canadian team and he plays midfield, the most important position. Now I know why the Impact's U18 academy has a 22-2-2 record!
