Time extended with a very direct and impassioned speech from Mr. O'Byrne (Stantec).

McKeen speaking to a unique area with need to protect it, even with good design, family friendly, and LRT.

Enjoying Knack's review/outside voice, incredibly balanced and thoughtful.

Henderson opposed and confirms the need to confirm 'good planning'. (interesting relative to his opposition to proposals on Whyte, ie. SouthPark)

Banga speaking to family friendly, LRT, TOD, revisions, community contributions, affordable housing.

Caterina speaking to the improvements over the last year, TOD 400m discussion and how it is a 'good project'. New and innovative or status quo.

Dziadyk talking about underused LRT usage in Grandin, where density is important and how this is an example of a using existing infrastructure. Modal shift, walkable, bikeable. Compatible with the neighbourhood.

Cartmell not overly concerned about traffic/but supportive of the OCL/Neighbours concerns. That said, TOD and LRT investment IS happening and so wants to ensure we are headed in the right direction investment wise.

Paquette wondering what we are looking for as a city, beautiful design, near LRT, almost philosophical in review and discussion around context. 'In the words of 30% of Edmontonians, let's vote!'.

Esslinger supports family friendly housing near a school, LRT, a beautiful urban community.

Nickel talking about good mathematics, life-cycles.

Iveson is 'really bothered' about this one, but 'on paper' likes it. What weight to give ARPs. What does this do for 'market expectations'? TOD considerations?

Hamilton 'either or for' ie. TOD, family friendly housing, investment in central public infrastructure, OR character and neighbourhood. A lot of uncertainties. Walkable and good living. Supportive of good planning, missing middle. 'Already a ton of density (in Grandin)'.

Walters to close... about being very 'careful' with this one as it has a lot of tension, TOD implications etc. Is this better if we send it away again or better for business? EDC support important. 'Loss and gain', agrees with McKeen. The 4 storey missing middle is included in this. 'Just approved 10000 new residents in the SE in 20mins, this is 178 units in central Edmonton'. Support.
