The problem is not so much the NIMBYs as it is politicians like Gale Brewer who herself is Queen of the NIMBYs. She would tear Manhattan down if she could.
But the problem with their "challenge" to tge DOB is that if the developer is legally within what he is allowed to build, you can't just stop it. Brewer knows this, of course.
