I looked up to see when this film opened. Krakatoa, East of Java premiered at the Cinerama Dome on May 14, 1969.
Then I discovered that this photo was taken a week ago! Apparently, Quentin Tarantino is filming "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood"
that takes place in 1969 and did some filming there.
I didn't find any 1969 photos of the Cinerama Dome marquee but there is this one of Sonny & Cher attending the premiere.
(I saw one photo that showed more of the marquee in the upper left hand corner that had the "VA" Of JAVA, but this photo is better.)
