And yeah, the car-centric nature of that mall is baffling. They could've made the car entrances/exits underground much closer to Roosevelt and made the entire mall plaza pedestrian-oriented like you might see at an LA mall, but God forbid someone might not be able to get dropped off at the culdesac directly in front of Showplace Icon.
They've also lowered all their prices for movies based on the fear of losing customers because parking is now paid (a point they drive home with multiple pre-movie screen advertisements). I really enjoyed paying $8 per ticket for me and my girlfriend walking over for a movie from three blocks away.
