Very random photos taken yesterday, Saturday, 10.10.2020.

Long Beach's newest tallest building nearly topped out.

The new Gerald Desmond Bridge (I assume it'll be given another official name later, being that it replaces the old Gerald Desmond Bridge) opened to traffic on Monday (10.5.20). I just had to drive it. The bicycle-pedestrian path is not open yet.

Petersen Automotive Museum.

Academy Museum of Motion Pictures, almost done with construction. They've repurposed an old Streamline Moderne May Company department store building that was completed in 1939 (and that my family used to shop at---I remember going there as a child and shopping there well into my teens; it closed in 1992) and built an addition. The museum was supposed to open at the end of this year, but will open some time next year.
