Here in Philadelphia, it seems like every time we expand bike lanes and bike parking, or even broach the subject of bike sharing, someone always argues that bicycles will never be a viable mode of transportation here because Philly is too cold in the winter. I'm sure you Montrealers will get a good laugh out of that one.

BIXI is mothballed for the winter in Montreal.
