Interesting mix of opinions on this.
Can anyone comment on the Vranich Empire?
He owns the Sheraton, Homewood Suites by Hilton, Staybridge Suites, and as this thread indicates may be proposing a Holiday Inn for the site at King and Queen.
Staybridge, Holiday Inn and the non-Vranich Crowne-Plaza are part of the InterContinental Hotel Group; Sheraton is part of Starwood Hotels & Resorts; Homewood Suites is part of the Hilton Hotels & Resorts.
Is there any conflict of interest in one developer owning competing brands? Or do each of these brands serve different segments of the market?
