The largest of the three blocks is divided by the
Beth Israel &
Founders Memorial Cemeteries. The one in the middle is still for sale, while the one to the right is now the home of a two-story dental office that opened within the last year.
The site itself is hemmed in pretty well. To the north is Allen Parkway & Buffalo Bayou Park. Directly east is the
Historic Oaks of Allen Parkway Village, a public housing development on the National Register of Historic Places. To the south, directly behind the proposed site, is the
Tinsley on The Park apartments, completed in the past year. A block to the west is the
Federal Reserve Bank and the
Ashton on West Dallas apartments.
