It seems W.B. Bert Kinner was involved in a couple other aviation sites in the Los Angeles area back in the day.

In the early 1920s, Mr. Kenner, a Long Beach resident, owned and operated Kinner Field located on the west side of Long Beach Boulevard
and Tweedy Road in what is now South Gate. (I haven't been able to locate it on any old maps though)

Kinner Field included a small hanger (below), a 1,200 ft roughed out runway....
