So this is just the first of 4 proposals to be announced. The winner will be announced Q1 2017.

Quote:
The four teams of finalists include Chicago-based development firms John Buck, Riverside Investment & Development, Golub and Sterling Bay, acclaimed architecture firms Studio Gang, Pelli Clarke Pelli, Skidmore Owings & Merrill and Gensler, and the world's second-largest commercial real estate brokerage: Jones Lang LaSalle.

Golub's team includes investors Macquarie Corporate Holdings, a subsidiary of Sydney, Australia-based financial services firm Macquarie Capital Group, and an affiliate of Walsh Construction. The architect is Gensler.

The JLL consortium includes John Buck and LaSalle Investment Management, the real estate investment arm of JLL. The design is by the firms of Jeanne Gang and Cesar Pelli.

Information from Amtrak on the Riverside venture, led by former John Buck executive John O'Donnell, does not include investment partners or architects.

The Sterling Bay group's architect is Skidmore Owings & Merrill.
