I added some updated "renderings". I have to say that while the building itself didn't have any historical context, the massing fit the site well. It definitely would have upset the "pyramid" created by the "Big 3" existing towers, though.
The 12-ish story base is the same height as the Renaissance Hotel; the western lower section is the same height as 55 Public Square (300 ft.); and the main bulk of the tower is placed furthest from the Terminal Tower. Plus, the curved facade of the tower would have made for some amazing reflective views.
