Good god, I hope they don't do a Cordish development. The last thing we need is NEW ORLEANS LIVE! the same canned faux-urban development that every second-tier US city has.
Unfortunately the convention center is dead-set on an entertainment district for conventioneers instead of a bold, modern neighborhood that could actually deliver more housing and a great quality of life.
