First look: New office block on the way in Dallas’ Deep Ellum district
Sterling Bay’s planned office and retail building is next to DART’s rail station

Chicago-based developer Sterling Bay hopes to lure more office workers to Dallas’ Deep Ellum district.

Last month, the developer bought more than 2.5 acres at Malcolm X Boulevard and Indiana Street near Baylor Scott & White’s sprawling medical center.

Sterling Bay is eyeing plans for a more than 10-story office and retail block that would stretch along DART’s Deep Ellum rail line between Elm Street and Gaston Avenue.
