you must not play any golf. I would recognize the Riviera Country Club Clubhouse anywhere. This photo is taken from north of Sunset. The tract office was just south of Sunset and the Clubhouse is about two blocks south of that. The actual Golf course is in the canyon behind the clubhouse.

Here's a more famous angle of it:




It does look like the RCC Clubhouse, but ....


Here's the tract office far right in a detail from the orginal picture and the other "building" to the left edge.

Here's a 1928 aerial with the tract office in the blue circle and the RCC Clubhouse in the green box. To get that view of the tract office in the original picture,
the photographer must have been south and a little west of it.

The RCC Clubhouse would not appear in the original picture to the left of the tract office.


I think it is an amalgam of two houses (red arrows) at the corner of Sunset and Napoli Drive (13701 Sunset Blvd and 1310 Napoli Dr).
