Yes I remember the World Series clusterfuck. But SEPTA's plan won't address the main issue - capacity. It should really beg/borrow/steal buses to augment the train lines and make runs from an additional subset of stations. Example: have a few buses at Spring Mill station (large parking lot) that will go directly to the "drop off" point in CC. Copy this on some additional train stations. And why in the world are those drop off points every station BUT the one closest to the Parkway!? Ugh..

On the whole, this won't turn out very well. None of it. At first, it seemed like a boon for the city. But between this awful transit plan and the draconian security measures (a fence around CC, museum closures, massive street closures, etc.), it's not looking good. The city will be held hostage, local residents and businesses are being massively inconvenienced, visitors will have a tough time dealing with all this crap, and the city will end up with a huge black eye.
