The caption is:
"El Monte Busway at Long Beach Freeway looking West before Construction 1960s"

.....but the Long Beach Freeway pretty much runs north and south, so I don't see how this view is looking west.

The apartments are still there, although with a new facade. Coords: 34.064639, -118.158344
