I was looking at properties for sale on Loopnet and it looks like Bingville, Jackson Park/Cann Park and Feiler Park/Hussars Terrace/Dittmerville will be the next frontier when it comes to redevelopment in the city. Recently, three properties were put on sale in these neighborhoods. The first property is a 1.4 acre site being listed for sale at $2.2 million in the Feiler Park/Hussars Terrace/Dittmerville area. The site is located at Bull and 59th Street. Below is a brief write up of the property.
Quote:
Accumulation of 1.41 Acres directly on Bull St close to the rapidly developing Starland District. This accumulation of parcels is currently Zoned B-G-1 which allows a myriad of uses including Self storage warehouse, but could potentially be rezoned to allow for Multi family/ mixed use development.

The second property is located at 3030 Barnard St in Bingville. It's a 0.45-acre site being listed for $985,000.

The third and final property is in Jackson Park . It's located at 0 51st Street and is a 2.29-acre site being listed for $1.4 million. Its being geared toward multifamily, student or senior housing. My feeling is that with SCAD's recent developments in the area, some developer will put student housing on the site. Here's a flyer for the site: https://images3.loopnet.com/d2/T2rSQ...E/document.pdf
