You should definitely plan a day trip to Halifax
Downtown Halifax (including Dartmouth's side of the harbour) is going through some exciting changes as of late. The shipbuilding contract will push even more proposals into development. Some of Halifax's larger towers are getting renovated as well.
Visit soon, if you want to see the downtown in its older state. In as little as a few years, the area will look very different.
