^Oslo is a good pick, easy to go Cph-Osl-Sth by bus fairly cheaply + great setting. Be prepared for Olso to be way pricey tho.
I'm not up to date with hostels, but do pick hostels in Scandinavia if you wanna go cheap. Since at least Stockholm has a real lack of hotels (compared to demand) they ain't cheap in good areas.
