Hollo who has built over 5 towers in this same area and has one underconstruction is looking to return the sheraton hotel brand back to miami, by proposing hotel d'la opera in the lot infront of opera tower, where the same towers, sales office stand. Thus tibor is still trying to become miami's most sucessful developer, while he still has the title for miami's tackiest, bulkiest and ugliest buildings...lol
I've been waiting anxiously and nervously to see the rendering. One on hand knowing its a hotel so they can be a little imaginitive with the design (as opposed to a residential which much have the amenity deck, parking, balconies...etc), but on the other hand knowing its a Hollo project and will probably end up looking like his Marriott down the street. At least the Doubletree Grand he built has a hole in it and a 42-story tall opening inside the building (when inside you can look up from the ground floor and see the roof).
