4th Ward Residential Tower

The group that has proposed a residential tower on the Fourth Ward edge of uptown has increased its allowable maximum unit count for the site.
Carolina Development Group NC LLC filed a rezoning petition earlier this year to allow up to 320 multifamily units and 5,000 square feet of commercial space in a 32-story building on North Smith Street, on a portion of the block bounded by Smith, 10th and Graham streets in Fourth Ward. A recent site plan revision is now requesting up to 350 units and includes a rendering of what the project could look like.
