For this tower the caissons are being drilled between the LIRR tracks in the NW corner of the East Rail Yard. The NY NY FB photo below MIGHT show the caisson drill nearest the 11th Ave viaduct drilling one of those caissons.

So there will be no excavation, rock blasting or foundation level for this tower ? 35 HY will be constructed on caissons above the rail tracks?
