Downtown Austin landowner Allen Nalle may need a developer to build shops and possibly a condo or medical office tower at the corner of 12th and Red River streets, where the Brick Oven Pizzeria has been for 30 years.
Nalle is having the 0.366 acres he owns at 1209 Red River St. rezoned to make way for a planned 152,160-square-foot building. If it gets the City Council’s OK Sept. 27 — it already got the Planning Commission’s blessing — the site would place more valuable real estate next to University Medical Center Brackenridge, where the University of Texas and Seton
