Well I guess there is now something to talk about........the Russian Georgian conflict....... causes.....responses and potential outcome. Any thoughts?
Did the Georgian government have the right to go after a province inside its territory? Is this the beginning of Russia trying to rebuild its empire? Does the U.S have any high ground to stand on considering its actions over the last few years? Are the European powers reacting forcefully enough or is the threat of a cut in energy from Russia preventing them from taking any action? Is Putin's behavior any different from the "old" Russia? Lots of possibilities to discuss here.
