Interesting though that there is a sign at the old Denny's--I assume the area couldn't support two Macayo's. If they are moving and looking to sell the land, I would hope Tempe would buy the building for preservation and for future use if/when commuter rail ever happens. And Macayo's also owns the neighboring overflow lot on the other side of the light rail tracks that could be a redevelopment candidate.
