Board OKs exceptions for giant warehouse

The planned building and its two-story parking garage will fill an entire block immediately west of the main St. Jude campus. The site is bounded by North Third on the east, Overton on the north, North Second on the west and Jackson on the south. St. Jude is seeking state approvals to build an elevated, enclosed pedestrian connection between the main campus and the new building. The building represents St. Jude’s first substantial expansion west into the Pinch District.
