Sure you can - WestJet sends a 737 from YHM to MCO weekly in the winter.

While technically the turboprops can fly to Florida from YHM, I can't see the turboprops being used for a destination like MCO, they would be used for short run regional service. They can also be used to ferry in people from smaller markets to YHM and then onward on the 737's to larger markets like Orlando or Las Vegas. The ability to feed a 737 to these destinations from arriving regional airlines would help justify more frequent service, and potentially additional 737 destinations.
