I for one have not "accepted" the fact that we have only 5 stat's. My girlfriend is from Ontario and I am constantly reminded on how lacking this province is. Stat holidays is just one of the conversations we have. I don't have the link available but I'm pretty sure that Nova Scotia has one of the highest rates of stress in Canada. Hmmm, highest taxes and lowest minimum wage probably has something to do with it. One extra day off in February won't fix the issue but damn it couldn't hurt.
