So where was Sinbad's located? I've placed an arrow above the former Holiday Inn (the Holiday Inn is visible in the sepia newspaper photo at the top of the post)

I a bit embarrassed to say, but I never made it out to Santa Monica Pier when I lived in L.A. (I guess I thought it was too touristy....or something
