BAH!
It could have been so much better.
This grudgingly gets a nod of approval from the curmudgeon. It is indeed a sort of "Faux Art-Deco" And I wish, oh How I wish even a fraction of modern Big Boring Boxes attemted to pull off such a look!
It is far and away one of my least hated moderen buildings, which is high praise!
The base and the step back looked to it does indeed warm my curmudgeon heart.
But, the top... Oh if only, if ONLY they had added some sort of Spiral! It would have felt like a true modern Art Deco building! Alas, so close and yet so far.
