There was another restaurant in San Francisco called Exposition Fish Grotto. They didn't have an LA location as far as I know but it may have been advertisint here in 1940 because of the Golden Gate International Exposition going on in its second year, at Treasure Island.

Bernstein's opened the LA restaurant about 1931 and closed 1942.

424 W. 6th later became another downtown Mike Lymans. It closed in 1964 when the building was to be demolished.
