That's technically not true with Philadelphia City Hall being 548 feet, built in 1901. It might be the tallest
office building outside of NYC for a bit. The previous holder was the 505 ft. Central Trust Building in Cincinnati (it was knocked down to 495 feet in the 40's or 50's when the crown came off), built in 1913.
