Construction of Shelby County Health Department building ahead of schedule

Construction of the new $25 million Shelby County Health Department is on track to be completed months ahead of schedule, and the contractor has exceeded the county’s goals for minority contractors. The new facility is at the corner of Jefferson Avenue and North Manassas Street and keeps the address of the current health department, 814 Jefferson.
