The entire downtown is extremely vibrant and jammed during the daytime. While not as lively in the evening ,
that is changing rapidly as large amounts of 24/7 residential and entertainment is added each year. The West
side Gateway district, which is relatively new, has become a very vibrant and diverse area of downtown.
The traditional core of blocks surrounding Main are currently under a multi-billion dollar reconstruction
and make-over. I'll add a few more pics above to give you a better idea of some of the current and
ongoing construction and daytime people watchable crowds. In additon to the stunning historical architecture, I'll
also add a few pics of the beautiful contemporary architecture, that is becoming a hallmark of Salt Lake's downtown.
