Fred A. Cutler, the probable builder, lived here in 1909. Its address was 1902 Hobart Blvd then, and 1902 South Hobart after the address realignments following the annexation of Hollywood and other districts. I don't know about the post at the curb, but maybe that's Cutler's name carved into the horseblock to its left.
