I am ecstatic to see how what I thought would develop because of the expanded convention centre came true.
I envision at least one more major upscale hotel and a moderately sized and priced one to be announced downtown in the next couple of years as well.
As most, I liked the original renders with more curves etc.. but reality kicks in with costs and practicality.
WE also gained one more tower today. 4 in total.
Plus now 2 will have residential.. Tower 4 is totally residential plus Tower 2 will have some on the upper floors of the 24 floor edifice.
The mega Liquor Mart. is quite a surprise.
I hope the supermarket and some cosmopolitan shops and gourmet food places become part of this.
I have heard from a few clients who have purchased in Sky-City so I am hoping it also goes through. These 2 projects alone can trigger and leverage more new developments
