I love night skylines that I can look at and feel like I'm going on a night on the town filled will all sorts of emotions of excitment as I anticipate the finest of dining, the best of entertainment, and people I can happily share it with. The picturesque skyline that I see in books (not city-specific, but just buildings with lights). I love skylines with spotlights. And roadways and highways that spine from the core outward.

For some reason or another, the two cities that give me that emotion the most are New York and Chicago.

I think colors look cool, but the above emotions that a skyline can give me will trump it. I'll take a sea of yellow lights if it just has that 'feel' to it. I almost can't describe it.
