Great pics of T1.5. I was in there a few months ago and its gorgeous. Actually, Delta and American are building terminal cores like this that will be the center of their operations. Much like how Delta will have a central area between 2&3 for security and check in, American is also having a central area between T4&5. It's almost like there won't be a terminal 2/3 because it will be one terminal with 2 concourses. Same with T4/5; they will be one terminal for American with 2 concourses.

To address above, American is planning on major renovations to T4 like what Delta is doing with T3. It won't be recognizable when complete. What is still unclear is United's plans for T7/8 as they've been on a holding pattern until they get confirmation on T9 and Star Alliance having priority over the new international terminal.
