If I am not mistaken this should be the tallest waterfront property in the city. At least until the 1200-1400 foot 80 South Street goes up.
And like you said this will dominate the area the proximity to the waterfront will enhance this. To help picture it, look at the effect Coach tower has right now. It looks just massive this will be 20 foot or so taller and will only have its buddy One Manhattan Square to keep it company.
