Passenger rail line is pondered
Waterbury, Berlin would be linked

WATERBURY — The idea of building a passenger railroad between Waterbury and Berlin is again being considered as part of a state Department of Transportation study of rail service in central Connecticut.
One of the options is to retool a freight railroad owned by Pan-Am Railways for commuter use.

Gee, if only there were tracks available to go from New Britain to Hartford, instead of having to transfer in Berlin....
