I mean they managed to turn it around on king william, but then they returned begging people for money because they knew the people coming there HAD money.. I see this sorta parallel world where hamilton is turning into this new place, but the dark gungy vibe of it is existing alongside it at the same time. But we've argued the other side to death so I guess it's just a matter of whether it can either all be relocated or somehow coexist, cuz it won't ever go away entirely.

I believe the city tried to implement a no loitering/spitting and other 'nuisance behaviour' by-law back in 2014, but it failed. They should try again, because quite honestly the situation in the area you're describing is completely out of hand. I don't bring my family down there anymore at all because I fear for their safety.
