My ex-girlfriend is prime example of this kind of anti-development mentality. Her reasoning was, "Building tall buildings in downtown will bring more cars to my neighborhood. It's already busy enough"
Me: "Uh, what? You live off Greenway and 7th Ave!".
I laughed so hard at her stance. A few of her friends also have this kind of mentality. Unbelievable that someone would think that a downtown high-rise would increase traffic around Greenway. Notice, I said "ex"
