I’ll never understand why our waterfront sucks so bad. It feels like a major missed opportunity for all kinds of boardwalk commerce and entertainment. I imagine it comes down to building regulations/red tape, something with the EPA, flooding, homeless/vandalism, or a combination of those things. Somehow every other major city has figured it out, though
