A sales rep is a terrible source for unreleased developer intentions. I would also gather a tower's structural engineering isn't specific to a certain number of metres tall. In all likelihood, they will go ahead with the extension like just about every other approved extension in the city. It was meant more as a reminder that that its not planning that ultimately makes the decision on these extensions. I still believe that a investor frenzy is on the horizon and that may line up perfectly with the decision. (not that Pinnacle is as reliant on investment and pre-selling as other developers)
