As for the headlights....it's an epidemic at this point, on both sides of the river. I'm not sure where all of these cars lacking daytime running lights came from in the last five years, but they are everywhere now. I see completely oblivious idiots driving around in all weather and lighting conditions with no lights these days. Yesterday morning at 6am in pissing rain and near darkness I saw many of them through Gatineau and Ottawa on my commute.

My kid turns 16 in August and I hope to god his driving instructor has more brains than these twits I witness daily in Aylmer. Luckily he loves cars so I am not afraid. I took him to Manitoba and let him drive the parents' Mach-E on country roads. I think he's a very capable driver.
