They claim they are aiming for a Fall 2026 opening, meaning they'd want substantial completion by July 2026. A building this size would take about 2 years to build. I would guess they are not starting imminently, they have a little bit of time before they need to start. New student housing construction of this scale is usually timed to deliver right before when students are ready to move-in. Finishing too late or too early can add a lot of expense to student housing projects where leasing and move-ins happen all at once annually. If you miss it you're screwed because students are forced to make a choice by a date certain so too early is better than too late. So if I had to venture a guess, I would say they are starting in Spring 2024.
